Trek is an amazingly sweet boy!  He is one of the nicest Ridgebacks around.  His favorite activity is food!  Anyone who has food is his new best friend, and he'll always remember you if you ever gave him food.  He likes to lure course...well only sort of.  He likes the start and he likes to finish and "kill" the plastic bunnies but the middle part of chasing the "bunny" is too much work, especially when you know it will come back to where it started!  So why bother?  Time is much better spent eating some barley grass and watching the lure come back in.  Tallyho!

 

We tried to do rally but because they used food in the class to reward the dogs, Trek could never concentrate long enough on the tasks while he tried to figure out all the things he could do to earn that treat.  Plus everyone else had food and he was trying to figure out how he could get all those in class to give him food, too.  So we haven't had a good opportunity to practice without all the food distractions.
